WELCOME TO THE PENN CLINIC

We are an established, multidisciplinary clinic providing unique based treatment plans by a team of highly qualified practitioners.

The clinic was established over 41 years ago in 1979 by the clinic founder Caroline Penn. The directorship was passed to Alex Bidlake-Corser in 2017 who has been running the clinic since then. Caroline has now retired and the clinic will continue to be owned and run by Alex and the team.

ABOUT OUR CLINIC

Our aim at The Penn Clinic is not only to treat, restore and improve but to also understand why the problem is happening in the first place to help prevent a repeat problem recurring.

We look at the individual’s overall lifestyle from exercise, nutrition to general health and wellbeing to get to the root of the issue. We offer a multidisciplinary service and are much more than just ‘manual therapy.

THE TEAM

Alex and the team of practitioners are active in both research and lecturing. Some of the team write for medical journals so are at the forefront of the latest developments in science and medicine.

Our approach to providing a unique treatment plan for the road to recovery is to assess the person using this evidence based approach but to balance this with a patient centred, holistic view to create a personalised plan that is right for the individual.
